The Alice Lloyd Eagles traveled to Pikeville to face the Pikeville Bears from the Mid-South Conference on Saturday, December 5th. In the matchup, which was played at the East Kentucky Expo Center, the Eagles fell 92-53.{nl}PC jumped on ALC early and pushed their lead to 39-22 by intermission. In the second half, the Eagles were never able to get into any rhythm offensively, and the Bears extended their cushion as the game unfolded.{nl}For ALC (2-5), the only player to reach double figures was Nick Brumback, who paced all scorers with 24.{nl}For PC (8-1), they were led in scoring by Maurice Thomas and Josh Samarco with 19 and 18 points respectively. {nl}ALC returns to action on Tuesday, December 9, when they travel to Grayson for an 8pm matchup with the Kentucky Christian University Knights. The next home contest is on December 12, when Spaulding University travels to the Grady Nutt Athletic Center for a 2pm contest.
