The Eagle Theatre Club is busy in November and December! Please come out to these great events. If you want to participate as an actor or director or technician, please contact Jesse Short, Brittany Brock, or Chelsea Kitchen.

On November 16th the club will be going to see A Christmas Carol at the Sipp Theatre in Paintsville, KY. Departure from campus is set for 6 PM. (Note: The club will be using ALC vans for transport.)  The show is at 7:30 PM, and the cost is $10.

Everyone, including student, faculty, staff and family members are invited to attend A Christmas Carol. If you plan to go, let Ms. Burnett know ASAP and get her the money for your ticket(s) by Monday, November 12th.

On November 29th, the club will perform Whose Line Is It Anyway?, an improvisation show based on the TV program, at 7 PM in the Campbell Arts Center. Tickets are $1.

Then, on December 4th, there will be a Stage Reading of three one-act plays at 7 PM in Cushing Hall. The plays are directed by Brittany Brock, Jesse Short and Megan Burnett. Tickets are $1.

Actors Needed!

We have a few actors signed up to read the plays for December 4th, but we need a few more men and women. If you’d like to help out, spend one day in rehearsal and then read the plays (no memorization required). Please see Ms. Burnett or any one of the people listed above.

Eagle Theatre Club events are open to all students, faculty, staff and their families.

Contact Megan Burnett at 368-6050 or meganburnett@alc.edu, if you’d like more information.
