Returning Alice Lloyd College students are strongly encouraged to prepare for the 2012-13 academic year by filing the 2012-13 FAFSA renewal as soon as possible.  Failing to file an early FAFSA application could result in a student missing out on financial aid opportunities.  Jacqueline Stewart, ALC’s Director of Financial Aid, insists that the earlier students can fill out these forms and get them in, the better.

“Students need to get these forms in now,” Stewart said.  “Forget the January 15th deadline — these are first-come, first-served aid programs.  If you can get the FAFSA sent in ASAP, you’ll be at the head of the line for financial assistance.”

Alice Lloyd College prides itself on graduating its students debt-free.  Many, if not most, of the College’s students depend upon financial aid as they pursue their education.  In today’s difficult economic times, that need is greater than ever.  Be sure to file your FAFSA at the earliest possible time.  It is also important to know the College’s school code, which students will need to enter on their FAFSA form.  ALC’s code is 001951.

For more information, contact Ms. Jacqueline Stewart, ALC’S Director of Financial Aid, at 606-368-6058.  Students are welcome to call or to come in for a visit.  The office is located on the first floor of the June Buchanan Alumni Center (JBAC).
