The Alice Lloyd Eagles traveled to Owensboro to face conference foe Brescia University on Saturday. ALC was hampered by poor shooting, as they dropped an 86-62 decision.

In the first half, Alice Lloyd was cold from the onset. The Eagles were never able to get into any type of offensive rhythm. As a result, they quickly fell behind and trailed at intermission by a score of 47-26.

In the second half, the offense picked up slightly, but the visitors could not seriously mount a comeback against BU.

Alice Lloyd (11-10, 3-4 KIAC) was led by senior Brandon Hayes with 11 points. Junior Brent Hall and freshman Clint Stepp each added 9 points.

Brescia (11-12, 4-3 KIAC) was led by Zach Brown and Brandon Jackson with 14 points apiece.

For the game, the Eagles shot a woeful 30.4% from the floor compared to 47.7% by BU. ALC did shoot a solid 80.6% from the foul line (25-31), while the Bearcats shot 63.3% (19-30).
