Alice Lloyd College hosted the league leading Indiana University Southeast club in two doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday. The Eagles played well in spots, but came up short in each contest.{nl}April 9{nl}GAME 1{nl}IUS-9; ALC-1{nl}The Eagles struck first, but saw IUS ice the game with 5 runs in the fourth inning.  For ALC, Adam Adkins had two hits and Joe Rasnake knocked in the lone RBI. Will Ray suffered the pitching loss.{nl}GAME  2{nl}IUS-5; ALC-3 (8 innings){nl}The Eagles led 3-1 entering the last inning, but made a costly error to allow the visitors to tie the score, and eventually win in extra innings. For ALC, Devon Pelfrey had two hits and 2 RBI’S. Kyle Potter and Joe Rasnake each added two hits, while Potters’ double knocked in the other Eagle run. Despite the fact that they both pitched well, Todd Duff suffered the pitching loss in relief of Trevor Corns.{nl}April 10{nl}GAME 1{nl}IUS-5; ALC-0{nl}Each team only had five hits apiece, but two errors proved deadly to the home club.  For ALC, Rasnake had two hits and Cory Brewer pitched well in defeat.{nl}GAME 2{nl}IUS-17; ALC-2{nl}IUS crushed 4 home runs and pulled out the big victory.  For ALC, Tyler Dotson registered half of the Eagles’ six hits. Carter Sibley added two of his own and one RBI while Raskakes’ hit scored the other run. Gerald Branham suffered the pitching loss.
