Jasmine Ly: Blessed to Attend ALC
Jasmine Ly has travelled from the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam to the calm mountains of Pippa Passes, Kentucky to further her education. Currently a junior Dual-Degree Nursing major at Alice Lloyd College, Jasmine has learned and experienced things in America that has laid the foundation for her future.
Seeing Double: Wilson Twins Leave Mark on Lady Eagles Basketball Program
When opposing teams take the court against the Alice Lloyd College women’s basketball team, they often do a double-take. At 17-4, the ALC Lady Eagles are off to the schools best record since 1996, and the resurgence has been largely led by a pair of remarkable sisters who are tearing up the court: 5’7 senior twin guards Kayla and Miranda Wilson.
Kaela Shaw: Overcoming Obstacles and Making a Difference
Kaela Shaw is not one to let the hard times in life keep her down. Throughout Kaela’s life she has bounced back from countless trials as a stronger woman. The trials that Kaela has overcome have given her a desire to help others that may be struggling with similar circumstances. Alice Lloyd College has given Kaela the opportunity to make a difference in others’ lives-an opportunity that she will never forget.
Thomas Case: Finding His Purpose at ALC
A Junior Biology (Pre-Med) major at Alice Lloyd College, Thomas Case, has always aspired to do two things, to be a scientist and a movie director. Although he decided science was the better path for him to take he has not given up his passion for movies. In more ways than one, ALC has fanned the enthusiastic flames of Thomas’ goals and directed him toward his purpose filled path.

Savannah Reynolds: Never Alone at ALC
Senior Savannah Reynolds has worked diligently to earn her Bachelors of Science in biology. While many students face adversities centralized around test prep, managing their social and academic lives, and deciding whether they want to eat ramen or ramen with spaghetti sauce on top, Savannah has faced much harder times. However, even throughout these trials Savannah has not only succeeded in earning her degree in four years, but has thrived while attending Alice Lloyd College, earning several awards and recognitions.

Jacob reigns from Pike County, Kentucky, and has been very successful during his time at Alice Lloyd College. He has earned enough credit hours to place him as a sophomore and has received a position of leadership among the students.
