The following statements are intended to cover primary guidelines of employment for residence hall staff. They are not inclusive of all residence hall staff responsibilities. Please read and initial each statement to indicate your understanding.
Period of employment: begins with Residence Hall Staff training about 7-10 days prior to the first day of check-in in August until the date of closing the residence halls in May. Staff members are expected to be the last to leave and the first to return at all major breaks during the academic year (Thanksgiving, Semester break, and Spring Break). *
Staff members are expected to adhere to a confidentiality agreement which will be signed during training. *
Staff members are expected to attend all staff training, staff meetings and development sessions provided. *
Staff members are expected to remain registered, full-time students at ALC in good social and academic standing with a 2.50 cumulative GPA or better and earn a 2.50 GPA or better each term of employment. I further understand that my grades will be reviewed each semester. *

You must have three recommendations (1 from an R.A., 1 from a work supervisor, & 1 from a faculty or staff member). Have them submit recommendations to Christine Stumbo, DSC 205.
