Athletics COVID-19 Policy

  • Spectators will be permitted in the Perry Campus Center during any athletic events during the spring semester.
  • We are only allowing 150 spectators in the Auxiliary Gymnasium per local and state government, the NAIA, and the NCCAA regulations during a match.
  • We are only allowing 250 people including players, coaches, staff, and fans in the Main Gymnasium/Coach J Court per local and state government, the NAIA, and the NCCAA regulations during games.
  • As of now, we are not allowing fans from visiting teams.
  • All Spectators must be screened before entering the Gymnasium.
  • Masks are REQUIRED and MUST be worn at all times while in the facility.
  • Social Distancing is required.
  • No large groups sitting in an area together.
  • No fans are allowed to sit at the press table
  • Due to COVID, no fans will be allowed to sit behind the visiting team bench area to help protect the visiting team. All Students must sit in the bleachers on the opposite side of the home/away bench areas or on the walking track and must social distance. You can only sit in the rows of bleachers where caution tape is not marked.
  • There will be limited seating behind the Home Bench for Faculty, Staff, and Families of the Athletes
  • The WALKING/RUNNING TRACK will be available and open for fans to watch the game. Masks and Social Distancing are still required.
  • We will be live streaming our games for free on Facebook Live through Hometown Sports Corner
  • For us as an institution to have spectators at sporting events, we must follow local and state government official’s guidelines. The NAIA and the NCCAA have a MANDATORY mask mandate in place stating that masks must be worn at all times by spectators, coaches, and any athletes in the bench area. Only Student-Athletes participating in the competition do not have to wear a mask.
