In the opening game, ALC broke away from their NCAA DII opponent early. Leading 13-10, the hosts went on a decisive 12-1 run to close the match and win 25-11.

The host club looked even more dominant in game 2. They sprinted ahead 13-6, and coasted from there to the 25-7 win.

In game 3, the visitors battled hard and were determined to force a 4th game. Fortunately, for the home fans, the Lady Eagles wanted no part of this plan as they pulled ahead for the 25-16 clincher.

On the day for the hosts, freshman Sara Howard was impressive as she recorded an outstanding 23 aces and tied junior Lindsey Perkins for the kills lead with 6.  She also added 3 digs. Juniors Alexis Napier and Samantha Sturgill led the squad in digs and assists, posting 10 and 5 respectively. Sturgill added 4 kills and 3 digs to the effort.

ALC returns to the court this Thursday, November 1st, when they begin Mideast Regional Tournament play at Johnson University.
