Eagles golfers played in the UPike Spring Invitational on April 14th and 15th. The weather was warm and very windy the first day and cold and rainy on the second day. Sophomore Aaron Minor lead Eagles golfers shooting 77/79 for the two rounds for 156, good for a tie for 11th place among the 35 golfers in the tournament. Senior Jared Albright shot 83/76 for a 159 and 14th place. Senior Tyler Brewer shot 85/85 for 170 to finish tied for 22nd and freshman Isaiah Penley shot 89/89 for 178 to finish 22nd.

The Eagles team shot 336/327 for a two-round total of 663 to finish 4th of 5 teams. The University of Pikeville won the tournament shooting 302/309 for a 611 to edge Thomas More College by one stroke. The medalist was Jordan Tieman of Thomas More, who shot 78/70 to finish tied with Roger Maynard of Pikeville at 148, with Tieman winning the playoff. Results of the tournament are listed here.
