Johnny Paul Byrd, Jr., a Clay County High School Senior, committed to the Alice Lloyd College Men’s Tennis team on Friday, April 21st. He is the son of Johnny and Tammy Byrd.
He plans on majoring in Biology Pre-Medicine. His reason for pursuing a degree at Alice Lloyd College was, “This was the first and only college that felt like home to me. ALC is very Christian based and I feel I would get the best education here!”
Coach Dustan Turner is very excited for his newest recruit. “J.P. (Johnny) is not only going to be a great asset to the team but to the school as well! He has excel in the classroom and on the court. We are blessed to have him to commit to ALC.”
