The Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles softball team faced the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers over the weekend in doubleheader action.

In game one on Saturday, the hosts dropped a 10-0 decision to the Trailblazers.

OCU took an early lead in the first inning, but blew the contest open with five runs in the fifth inning.

Whitney Fiedler started the game for Ohio Christian University. She threw four innings, allowing zero runs, five hits, striking out four, and walking zero.

Aly Webb took the loss for the Lady Eagles. She tossed five innings, giving up ten runs, 14 hits, and striking out four.

Elizabeth Prater led the Eagles with two hits.

In game two, Ohio Christian captured the lead in the first inning and pulled away for a 9-0 victory.

A single by Madison Haymaker in the first inning was a positive for ALC, but she was left stranded at the base. The Trailblazers then steadily increased their lead until the final out.

Lexi Williams earned the win for Ohio Christian University. She went six innings, surrendering zero runs, four hits, and striking out three. 

Allison Shepherd took the loss for the Lady Eagles. She pitched six innings, allowing nine runs, eight hits, and striking out two.

Aly WebbMadisson Minks, Haymaker, and Shepherd each collected one hit to lead the Lady Eagles.
