Pippa Passes, KY: The ALC Lady Volleyball Eagles returned to their winning ways as they captured a huge home game victory last night against Crown College. The ladies swept the game, winning three nail-biting sets: 26-24, 25- 22, 28-26. The win marks the third victory in the last four games for the girls from Pippa Passes.

Individually, there were multiple players that made this victory possible. Many of the athletes really stepped up in serving last night, but there was one player who stood out; #14 Sam Sturgill with 16 points from serves. #13 Haley Smith came through for the team in digs with her prime target being #10 Alex Hunter who had numerous assists to her attackers. Sturgill again led in attacks and blocks very closely followed by #2 Lindsey Perkins.

We would like to congratulate our Lady Eagles on a fantastic win with great teamwork and look to see them build on their record-setting 7th victory as they near the regular season’s end.

Alice Lloyd returns home Tuesday night as they host a formidable Kentucky Christian Lady Knight squad at 7:00 pm.
