The June Buchanan Crusaders traveled to Harlan Co. to end the regular season against one of the 13th Regions strongest clubs, the 21-4 Harlan Co. Black Bears. The Crusaders battled hard before falling 50-41.
For the Crusaders (18-8) they were paced by Prince Anosike with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Joining him in double figures were Steven Silvers and Idris Akinyemi with 11 and 10 points respectively. Elijah Branham and Hunter Hammond added 2 and 1 point to the cause.
On the night, June Buchanan shot 46.2% (18-39) from the field and 33.3% from the foul line (3-9) and pulled down 24 rebounds.
