The ALC Eagles traveled to Bowling Green to face NCAA opponent Western Kentucky University. The contest with the Hilltoppers was played on December 29th. The Eagles dropped a 104-62 decision.
WKU jumped out to an expected early lead, but the Eagles scrapped to close to 15-13 with 14:05 left in the first half. The Hilltoppers T.J. Price hit two 3-pointers to spark an 11-0 run, and the Hilltoppers went on to increase the lead to 60-31 at the break.
In the second half, the visitors played hard, but WKU was able to use their strength to prevent any type of comeback.
For ALC (4-10), Trevor Tiller led all scorers with 20 points, including 4-5 from the three point line. He also added 4 assists. Tyler Rogers added 17 points while Austin Crisp contributed 10. Cody Stumbo battled the bigger Hilltoppers all night and hauled down a game high 12 rebounds.
Western (7-5) was led by Trency Jackson with 17.
