The Alice Lloyd Eagles picked up their third consecutive victory as they knocked off the Boyce Bulldogs in convincing fashion 92-64 last night on the road.

In the opening half, the Eagles jumped out of the gates quickly. Sparked by 11 points from Tyler Rogers, and the bench play of Dondre Warren, ALC vaulted to a 50-31 lead by intermission.

In the second half, the Bulldogs made a quick run to reduce the deficit to just 9 with under 16:00 remaining. But the Eagles slammed the door shut, as they went on a major run to expand the margin by as much as 30 points with just over five minutes to go.  From there, they coasted to the final score.

For the victors (7-10), Rogers and Warren led the way with 21 points apiece. For good measure, Rogers added 9 rebounds and 8 blocks on the night. Also in double figures were guards Trevor Tiller and Austin Crisp, as each tossed in 12. Tiller led the way with 5 assists. Cody Stumbo continued his fine work on the glass as he also contributed 7 caroms.

On the night, the Eagles connected on 53% from the field (35-66) and 68% percent from the stripe (17-25). They were 5-15 from long range (33%). Boyce shot 42% from the field (27-64), but just 33% percent from the stripe (4-12). They were 6-21 from long range (29%). The visitors also won the battle of the boards (42-25) and recorded 17 assists on the night.

The Bulldogs (4-12) were led by BJ Wright and Bryce Wells, each with 15 points.
