The 2010-11 edition of the Alice Lloyd College baseball team opened up the season with a four game series vs. Purdue University North-Central from Westville, Indiana. Below are recaps of each game.

Game 1: ALC-3, PNC-2
Sophomore Cody Hyden had two hits including a double to lead the Eagles to the opening win.  Tyler Estep and Will Leonard each added a double of their own.  Trevor Corns earned the victory on the mound.

Game 2: ALC-5, PNC-7
Cody Hyden had 3 hits, but the Eagles suffered the loss.  Wade Walters added 2 hits to the effort.  Neil Dillon suffered the loss on the mound.

Game 3: ALC-5, PNC-4
Tyler Estep and Ben Ray each had 2 hits apiece as ALC pulled out the win in extra innings.
Cody Hyden had 3 RBI’s and Kyle Potter added a double. Hyden also earned the pitching victory.

Game 4: ALC-0, PNC-6
Purdue broke open a scoreless game in the fifth inning and earned the victory.  ALC hurt themselves with two key errors, which permitted the visitors to put the game out of reach.  Wade Walters had 2of the Eagles 5 hits.
