The Alice Lloyd Eagles fell on the road to defending KIAC champion Indiana University Southeast 105-63 last night. It was the opening conference game for both squads.

IUS was able to forge an early double figure lead in the first half, and in the second, they steadily put the game out of reach. Overall, they connected on 54% of their shots for the game. The Eagles finished by hitting on 38% overall.

For ALC (3-11, 0-1 KIAC), senior Daniel Combs (Hazard) led the way with 17 points. Joining him in double figures were Brent Hall (Kite) and Van Ferguson (Paintsville) with 12 and 10 points respectively.

For IUS (8-7, 1-0 KIAC), Rick Bodiford and Nick Gigel each netted 21 points.
