Alice Lloyd traveled to New Albany, Indiana to face the third ranked team in the country, the Grenadiers of Indiana University Southeast. The home team connected on a staggering 23 three point goals in earning the big victory, 122-80.{nl}In the first half, IUS shot 57.5% from the field and hit 10 bombs in jumping ahead 63-37. In the second half, they shot even better, as they connected on 62% from the field and 13-21 from long range.{nl}For ALC (7-18; 2-9) junior Daniel Combs led the way with 17 points. He was followed by sophomores Brandon Hayes and Van Ferguson with 14 and 13 apiece. Junior Will Jones added 11.{nl}For Indiana (22-3; 11-0), guards Craig Bryant and George White combined for 10-15 from downtown to lead the way with 23 and 20 points respectively.{nl}The Eagles have two games remaining, and both will have a huge impact on conference seeding. They return home on Wednesday night for their last home contest against the Cincinnati Christian Eagles in a 7:30 tipoff, and will close out the regular season on Saturday at Owensboro against the Brescia Bearcats.  Based on league finish, they will then begin KIAC Tournament play next Tuesday, February 23 at a site to be determined.
