William Slone Named Student Achiever

William Alexander Slone, a senior at The June Buchanan School, has been selected as WYMT Mountain Student Achiever for the week of November 16.  William has a 4.0 G.P.A. and is a member of the National Honor Society and the Cross Country team.  His academic achievements include winning several academic awards, including English II, English III, Biology and Chemistry.  William is the son of Dr. Kenneth and Mrs. Candace Slone of Mallie, Kentucky.{nl}WYMT is a local news station operating out of Hazard, KY.  Each week they honor outstanding students from the mountain area.
