Eagles Lose to St. Catherine University

The Alice Lloyd Eagles traveled to Louisville last night and suffered a 95-68 setback at the hands of the St. Catherine Patriots.{nl}The undefeated Patriots vaulted from the gates strong and pulled out to a 45-27 lead at intermission.{nl}In the second half, the Eagles played hard, but were never able to slice into the deficit. For ALC (1-4), forward Nick Brumback was the only player in double figures as the sophomore finished with 17 points.{nl}SCU (6-0) was led by forward Ervin Williams and guard Josh Edwards with 17 and 16 points respectively. Brandon Johnson and Kevin Owens each added 11.{nl}ALC returns to action on Tuesday, November 24, when they host the University of Virginia- Wise Cavaliers. Tipoff is set for 8pm.
