Bryan K. Bolton

 

Assistant Professor of Music/Director of The Voices of Appalachia

 

Bryan is originally from Arkadelphia, AR and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR and a Master of Music in Church Music degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA. He has previously served churches in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Missouri. Bryan comes to Alice Lloyd College after serving six and a half years as Minister of Music at First Baptist Church in Hazard, KY and currently serves as Associational Music Director for the Three Forks Baptist Association. He has sung in several community programs as well as being a member of the East Kentucky Singers. He is also an active member of the Kentucky Baptist Men’s Chorale, a male chorus comprised of ministers of music from Kentucky Baptist churches. Bryan and his wife, Erin have two children: Kaitlyn (6) and Keith (14 months).
