Alice Lloyd College Students Aide Hurricane Katrina Victims

Alice Lloyd College is very proud of the 14 students that volunteered their assistance for 8 days in Ocean Springs, Mississippi to help with Katrina Relief efforts. Our students helped in the distribution center that the Christian Appalachian Project has set up at the Chritus Victor Lutheran Church in Ocean Springs, while many other teams went out to homes and worked clean up for the homes of the victims.

Brandon Stapelton, an ALC Student, says: "ALC should be very proud of these individuals who gave up their time and efforts to help those in need. Alice Lloyd was correct in saying, The Leaders are HERE."
