Requirements for JBS Diploma 2009-2010
Beginning with the Class of 2010, to graduate from The June Buchanan School, a student must have successfully completed a total of twenty-four (24) credits, consisting of:
- 4 credits of English (English I, II, III, IV)
- 4 credits of Mathematics (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Advanced Math: Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus or Calculus)
- 4 credits of Science (Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
- 4 credits of Social Studies (Geography/World Civilization I, World Civilization II, U.S. History, Senior Social Studies)
- 2 credits of one Foreign Language (Spanish I, Spanish II)
- 1 credit of Health/Physical Education
- .5 credit of Computer Technology
- .5 credit of Speech
- 1 credit of Arts and Humanities
- 3 credits of electives
- An approved attendance and conduct record (JBS reserves the right to refuse a diploma to any student whose conduct is not satisfactory or who may poorly represent this institution as a graduate).
