Electives – Trigonometry, Anatomy & Physiology,
Current Events, CHAP class (when available 2nd Semester)

Twelfth Grade

English IV, Advanced Math (i.e. Pre-Calculus, Calculus), Computer Applications, Physics, Senior Social Studies, CHAP classes (optional)

 

Requirements for JBS Diploma 2009-2010

Beginning with the Class of 2010, to graduate from The June Buchanan School, a student must have successfully completed a total of twenty-four (24) credits, consisting of:

  • 4 credits of English (English I, II, III, IV)
  • 4 credits of Mathematics (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Advanced Math: Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus or Calculus)
  • 4 credits of Science (Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
  • 4 credits of Social Studies (Geography/World Civilization I, World Civilization II, U.S. History, Senior Social Studies)
  • 2 credits of one Foreign Language (Spanish I, Spanish II)
  • 1 credit of Health/Physical Education
  • .5 credit of Computer Technology
  • .5 credit of Speech
  • 1 credit of Arts and Humanities
  • 3 credits of electives
  • An approved attendance and conduct record (JBS reserves the right to refuse a diploma to any student whose conduct is not satisfactory or who may poorly represent this institution as a graduate).
