Application Process
Applicants for admission should follow these steps:
- File an application with the Admissions Office.
- Request their high school to send a transcript to ALC.
- File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Failure to file the FAFSA by February 15 may result in the loss of KHEAA funding (CP and SSIG Grants). Kentucky residents need to list a private school as their first school choice due to larger grants from KHEAA for private schools.
- List Alice Lloyd College as one of your school choices so that ALC will receive the SAR (Student Aid Report) electronically.
- Take the American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and request that scores be sent to Alice Lloyd College.
- Submit any AP, CLEP, or other standardized test score reports (minimum scores for advanced credit are established by the academic departments).
Note: Upon receipt of a letter of acceptance from the Director of Admissions, the student must submit
- A completed health form.
- A completed housing form and a $75.00 deposit, if a dormitory room is to be reserved.
- A completed commuter form and a $75.00 deposit, for commuter students.
* All students are encouraged to send all forms pertaining to admission before the June 1 Priority deadline.
