With God, whose puppets, best and worst,
Are we: there is no last nor first.

Why did you choose to attend Alice Lloyd College?

I could attain a quality education close to home. I knew I wanted to go to medical school, and I've heard that Alice Lloyd graduates are highly thought of by these professional institutions.

What advantages have you received by participating in the work-study program at Alice Lloyd College?

As an incoming freshman, I was nervous and shy. Work-study helped me to make friends and these friendships will last a lifetime. My first year I worked in the daycare. This helped me to decide that I wanted to be a pediatrician. It has also helped me become more responsible and gain a work ethic that will help prepare me for the real world.

What advice would you give to incoming students to ensure their success at Alice Lloyd College?

Think about what you want to do with your future and take all the classes you can in high school that may pertain to what you want to do. This way you are more prepared when you get into college classes. I took AP Biology in high school and it has helped me tremendously in my college career as a freshman taking the biology courses, and the confidence has carried me on to excel in the higher course levels.
