The Alice Lloyd women’s basketball team opened their season on Tuesday, November 5th, against the Lady Knights of Kentucky Christian University. ALC came out of this one on the winning end by a score of 83-81. The game was played at the Grady Nutt Athletic Center in Pippa Passes, Kentucky.
The 2013-2014 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference preseason women’s basketball poll was released Wednesday, October 23rd, by KIAC officials. Point Park University and Alice Lloyd College were selected by conference coaches to finish in the top spot after both received the same number of voting points.

The USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletic Association) has announced their Women’s Basketball All-American squad for 2012-13. Alice Lloyd College junior sensation Ariel Nickell and outstanding sophomore Carla Booth were both named to the exclusive first team.
The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles battled Asbury University on Monday afternoon in the semifinals of the KIAC tournament. ALC fought back from a double-figure second half deficit to cut the lead to one, but missed a shot at the end and fell 74-73.
