The Alice Lloyd Eagles traveled to Barbourville, Kentucky on Wednesday, January 8th, to take on the Union College Bulldogs. The Eagles were never able to find their groove on this night as the home team took this contest, 98-72.
Junior guard Cody Stumbo pumped in 21 points while sophomore forward Tyler Rogers had the defensive stop of the night to spark Alice Lloyd to a 75-70 victory over conference foe Cincinnati Christian University. The game was the first on the Eagles' 2014 schedule.

The Alice Lloyd Eagles traveled to Huntington, West Virginia on Tuesday, December 17th, to square off against the Marshall University Thundering Herd. The game went as expected as the NCAA Division I program took an easy 121-57 victory.
In their second game in as many days, the Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles were riding the high of defeating Ohio Christian University, a team who had beaten them earlier in the season, into a match-up with the UPike Lady Bears at the East Kentucky Expo Center on Sunday, December 15th. However, the Lady Bears also had revenge on their mind, delivering a 78-70 defeat to the visitors from Pippa Passes.
In what would be the first of two serious road tests, the Alice Lloyd Eagles made the trek to the East Kentucky Expo Center to challenge the UPike Bears on Sunday, December 16th. The third-ranked Bears would own this contest, beating the Eagles 107-70.
