The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles returned to action on Tuesday, January 14th, against Berea College. The home team was able to get out to a great start and never looked back as they ran the Lady Mountaineers out of the gym, 99-63.
Alice Lloyd College senior Ariel Nickell was named the KIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week by KIAC officials on Monday, January 13th. She also became the leading scorer in Alice Lloyd women's basketball history.

The Alice Lloyd Eagles returned to the hardwood on Saturday, January 11th, as J.R. Hammond’s squad battled the Point Park Pioneers. ALC fought off a furious rally from the team out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to win by a final score of 71-68.
Junior guard Cody Stumbo pumped in 21 points while sophomore forward Tyler Rogers had the defensive stop of the night to spark Alice Lloyd to a 75-70 victory over conference foe Cincinnati Christian University. The game was the first on the Eagles' 2014 schedule.
Junior guard Carla Booth swished in 22 points and orchestrated an early three-point barrage by the hosts, as the Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles overwhelmed conference foe Cincinnati Christian University, 104-86. The game was the first played in 2014.
Alice Lloyd College students and faculty recently contributed to Operation Christmas Child, donating 1,082 boxes that will be sent to children in over 130 countries. On December 17th, several students also traveled to the international headquarters of Samaritan's Purse in Boone, North Carolina, to aid in processing the boxes.
