Alice Lloyd College students are taking part in Read Across America. The event takes place each year and encourages reading throughout schools. The event is scheduled in March to correspond with Dr. Seuss’ birth month.
The 2015 KIAC Men’s Basketball Tournament is set to begin February 25. The top 4 teams from the north and south divisions advanced to the tournament. All quarterfinal games will be played at the top seed on Wednesday, February 25. The winners will advance to the semifinals on February 28...
Just a few weeks into the semester and Alice Lloyd College students are already working to make a difference in our community. Senior Tessa Amburgey, along with several other students, are diligently fundraising for Autism Speaks, the leading organization for awareness, treatment, and prevention for autism.
Student writer, Adele Williams, recently had the opportunity to catch up with ALC alumni Edward ‘Eddie’ Dixon. Adele, who is currently double majoring in Sociology and English at ALC, had the privilege of taking Advanced Placement World History under Mr. Dixon during her sophomore year at Lawrence County High School.
The Alice Lloyd College Athletic Program has once again received recognition from the NAIA. ALC was recognized as a Champions of Character Five Star Institution and placed in the Silver achievement level.
