THE BILL AND HILDA BAUM TECHNOLOGY CENTER
McGaw Library and Learning Center
Alice Lloyd College ● 100 Purpose Road ● Pippa Passes, Kentucky 41844
The Bill and Hilda Baum Technology Center was constructed in 1999 as part of the existing McGaw Library and Learning Center. The new technology center was made possible through the generosity of Bill and Hilda Baum, longtime friends and donors of Alice Lloyd College and The June Buchanan School.
The Baum Technology Center includes a 30-unit computer classroom where all computer information system (CIS) classes are held. In addition to the classroom, there is a 30-unit walk-in computer lab which is available to all Alice Lloyd College students for the purpose of doing research and class assignments. The campus network core is also housed here, as well as four offices for instructors, network and database managers, and student computer technicians.
