On Friday, April 11th, ten students and one adviser attended the annual Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference, which was held on the campus of Georgetown College. The students and the local chapter of Alice Lloyd College performed very well, bringing home many awards and recognitions.
After dropping the first three contests of a four-game road set to Brescia, the Eagles were able to get out of town with a 12-6 victory over the league #2 Bearcats at Schadler Field. What follows is an overview of the series, which took place on April 12th and 13th.
The Alice Lloyd College Eagles golf team faced off with the Berea Mountaineers in a Ryder Cup-style friendly match on Saturday, April 12th at Gibson Bay Golf Course in Richmond, KY. A recap of the event follows.
Eagles Baseball returned to the diamond on Wednesday, April 9th, versus non-conference opponent, the University of Pikeville Bears. The Eagles fought hard against their in-state rivals, but came up a little short in the nine-inning game, losing 7-6. The game was played at the Reeve Athletic Field in Pippa Passes, Kentucky.
