Why did you choose to attend Alice Lloyd College?

My family all live around Knott county and I had many family members that attended ALC. I also knew they had a good reputation and a good education program.

What do you enjoy most about being an athlete at Alice Lloyd College?

I love the atmosphere at ALC. I have thoroughly enjoyed running cross country and helping build the softball team. Being at ALC, and playing a sport here, is like having a big family. We are close, we encourage each other, and we support each other no matter what. There is nothing better than being a part of that!

What advantages have you received from participating in the work study program at Alice Lloyd College?

I believe that the biggest advantage has been that my workstudy pays for most of my tuition. I have also had the chance to work with wonderful people and the program has helped me learn responsibility.

What advice would you give to incoming student athletes to ensure their success at ALC?

The best advice I can give would be to make sure you manage your time. Between class, work, and a sport, you have to be able to efficiently manage your time! Also, always remember that you are a role model for younger kids and other college students. They are always watching, so be a good role model!
