Eagles Baseball Sweeps Johnson Bible
Alice Lloyd met visiting Johnson Bible for two games on March 24th. The Eagles proved to be rude hosts as they shutout JB in both contests.
GAME 1
ALC-8; JB-0
The Eagles ripped off 4 first inning runs to win going away. Big Will Leonard and Carter Sibley both homered for ALC while Taylor Sewell had 2 hits. Winning pitcher Trevor Corns held Johnson Bible to only one hit over 5 innings while striking out five in tossing the shutout.
GAME 2
ALC-11; JB-0
Carter Sibley homered for the second consecutive game and joined Corey Brewer with 3 hits apiece to pace the Eagles in the win.
Pitcher Nick Grey tossed a 2 hit shutout to earn his first win of the season.
