Appalachia Day Homecoming

Alice Lloyd College holds its annual Appalachia Day Homecoming celebration every second Saturday of October. Other events which take place during this day of fun and fellowship include the annual Alumni Association Meeting, various athletic events, children’s storytelling, an Appalachian writers’ book signing, the induction of new members into the ALC Athletic Hall of Fame, the coronation of the Homecoming Queen and Princess, and the traditional soup bean supper.
