Endowment

Maybe no other college in America provides the kind of financial assistance to students that Alice Lloyd College does. Deserving students from 108 central Appalachian counties in our service area attend with no out-of-pocket costs for tuition.

The endowment (invested funds from which only the earnings are spent) is critical in meeting the guarantee we make to students. One of the major priorities at ALC is to increase our endowment to further ensure that future students have opportunities to obtain quality educations at a low cost.

Our young men and women deserve that chance!

Learn More About Our Miracle

“The leaders are here!” With these words, in the early 1900s, Ms. Alice Geddes Lloyd set the foundation for what continues to be today’s mission for Alice Lloyd College. She realized that education was necessary if we are to create economic growth and a brighter future for Appalachia. What greater investment could one make? You, too, can become a part of our Miracle on Caney Creek by making a donation to the College. By doing so, your gift will not only have an impact on the lives of our students, but also on a number of other lives that they will touch. We think you will agree an investment of this kind is truly priceless!
