The natural beauty and rugged challenges of the Appalachian Mountains lie at the very core of the Alice Lloyd College experience. With an expanded liberal arts curriculum, modern learning techniques, and advanced technology, Alice Lloyd has earned an outstanding academic reputation. But that’s just the beginning! One of only seven colleges in the nation with a required Student Work Program, ALC provides a tuition-guaranteed education for qualifying students of 108 Central Appalachian counties. Our graduates leave with the knowledge that comes from a superior liberal arts education and the personal satisfaction of a job well done.
The Alice Lloyd College Admissions staff prides itself on offering a personal approach to the college search process. At ALC we get to know you as an individual, an effort that is carried on throughout your entire career at Alice Lloyd College. You and your family are invited to schedule a time to come experience ALC. Campus visits include an information session with an ALC Admissions Counselor, which provides an opportunity to have any questions you may have answered. You will also receive a guided tour of campus—conducted by current students who serve as our ALC Admissions Ambassadors—that will give you a chance to see student dormitories, the library, the Student Center, sports facilities, and more. We look forward to personally welcoming you!
Daily campus tours are offered Monday through Friday. You must register for a campus tour.
