U.S. News Ranks Alice Lloyd College Among Top in the Nation

U.S. News and World Report rankings were released this week and Alice Lloyd College has again captured high rankings in multiple categories. ALC is ranked fifth in the nation for least amount of average debt. The College is ranked twelfth among national liberal arts colleges for alumni giving and fifteenth among all colleges nationally.

Alice Lloyd Eagles Win KIAC Semi-Final Thriller over Point Park University

Sophomore guard Austin Crisp sank a free throw with 4 seconds remaining to provide the final point as the Alice Lloyd Eagles held on to defeat the Point Park Pioneers 89-88 in a thrilling match up in the semi-final round of the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. The contest was played Saturday night before a packed house at the Grady Nutt Athletic Center. With the win, ALC avenged an early season 79-75 loss in Pittsburgh, PA.

ALC Recognized for Battling Hunger

Alice Lloyd College’s Power Up with Nutrition program has been recognized by Engage Magazine. Engage Magazine recognizes social entrepreneurship and is released by the Sullivan Foundation, a longtime friend of Alice Lloyd College. In addition to recognizing ALC’s Power Up with Nutrition, the Sullivan Foundation supports ALC through annual scholarships for tuition, awards, such as the Mary Mildred Sullivan and Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, and an endowment for student education retreats. ALC’s Power Up with Nutrition aims to help local children that face hunger.
