Foundation and Corporate Giving
Corporate Matching Gifts Programs provide a meaningful way for individuals to double, and sometimes triple, their gifts to charitable institutions. Many corporations match not only the gifts of their current employees, but their spouses and retired employees as well. If you have an interest in pursuing this avenue of giving, you should contact your Human Resources Department to see if they participate in a matching gifts program. If so, a matching gift form should be secured from the corporation and submitted by you along with your gift to Alice Lloyd College. The American free-enterprise system is important to our educational program
in that we rely heavily upon private gift income for our existence. Foundation giving
accounts for approximately 51% of all our annual gift income; 2% is derived from corporate
gifts. With the financial assistance these entities have provided, we have been able to
enhance our educational offerings, fund 9 major construction projects over an 18-year
period, upgrade our technology center, and the list could go on. We appreciate the
confidence which many foundations and corporations have expressed in our college through
