We award the Women’s Student-Athlete of the Week honor to Lady Eagle basketball player Haley Hall.

The skilled 5’8 sophomore from Grayson, Ky. had an outstanding season. Hall finished the year averaging 16.4 ppg, while connecting on 41.2 % from the floor and 38.2% from long distance. She also sank an exceptional 85.6% from the free throw line. Additionally, she added 5.6 rebounds, 1.86 assists and 1.53 steals per outing, and led her club in scoring, rebounding, and steals.

Her season high was 36 points, achieved on February in a road win at Indiana University-Kokomo, while her rebounding high was 11 and assist high was 5.

She helped lead the Lady Eagles to a second-consecutive berth in the NAIA DII National Tournament, where they fell to the eventual national runner-up, Southeastern University (Florida).

Despite the defeat, Hall performed brilliantly in the game, as she connected on 9-16 field goals (6-9 3FG) and led all scorers with 26 points.

For her efforts, she was just selected as an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American as well as an NCCAA Third Team All-American. She was also named First Team All-Conference by the NAIA’s River States Conference as well as NCCAA Mid-East Region First Team All-Region.
