We award the Eagles Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor to sophomore forward Chance Cornett.

Cornett, a native of Pippa Passes, Kentucky, performed well in the squads two contests in the NCCAA Mideast Regional Tournament held at Bluefield College.
In the 91-88 semi-final victory over Hiwassee College, he pumped in 19 points on 8-16 field goals and added 4 rebounds. In the 107-98 championship game defeat to Bluefield College, he poured in a career-high 34 points while connecting on 10-16 field goals, 5-10 trifectas, and 9-10 charity tosses. He added 5 rebounds.
For the week, he averaged 26.5 ppg and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 56% (18-32) from the floor.
