Blake Smith
GREENVILLE, SC – The NCCAA has announced its national awards for the 2017-18 season. Alice Lloyd College guard Blake Smith was selected as an elite NCCAA Second Team All-American.
The athletic 6’3 sophomore from Manchester, Kentucky, had an exceptional season. He finished the year averaging 17.6 ppg, while connecting on 50.3 % from the floor and an outstanding 43.6% from long distance. He also sank 81.3% from the free throw line. Additionally, he added 5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals per outing.
His season high was 33 points, achieved on February 17th against Indiana University Kokomo, while his rebounding high was 10 against Asbury University on February 1st.
