We split the Eagles Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor between senior guard Kayla Wilson and senior guard Miranda Wilson

Team Record: Week: 2-0 Overall: 22-4; 15-3 RSC

Kayla, a native of Corbin, Kentucky, was impressive with her all-around game in leading the Lady Eagles to a 2-0 week, both in conference play. In the 64-58 victory at Cincinnati Christian University on February 13th, she scored 10 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, added 3 assists and 6 steals. In the 101-71 trouncing of Indiana University Kokomo on February 8th, she scored 14 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, handed off 4 assists, and had 2 steals.

Miranda, a native of Corbin, Kentucky, was equally impressive with her all-around game in leading the Lady Eagles to a 2-0 week, both in conference play. In the 64-58 victory at Cincinnati Christian University on February 13th, she scored 13 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, and added 2 assists. In the 101-71 trouncing of Indiana University Kokomo on February 8th, she scored a game-high 21 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, handed off a game-high 9 assists, and had 3 steals.

The Wilson twins have helped lead the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles to the top-seed of the Western Division in the upcoming River States Conference Tournament. They will open Wednesday, February 21 against Point Park (PA) University. The game will be held at the Grady Nutt Athletic Center and will be the last tournament to be held in the 44-year history of the gymnasium.
