Blake Smith, a native of Manchester, Kentucky, performed well in two conference games last week.
In the 95-81 defeat at 15th ranked Indiana University Southeast on February 6th, he led the squad with 18 points on 5-12 field goals and 8-8 free throws. He added 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks, and 3 steals. In the Eagles last-second 101-99 defeat to Brescia University on February 10th, he led the way 24 points on 10-16 field goals and 3-4 free throws while adding 4 rebounds and 1 steal.
In the two games, he averaged 21 points on 53.5% shooting from the floor and 91.6% from the charity line as well as 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
Chance Cornett, a native of Pippa Passes, Kentucky, performed impressively in two conference games as well. In the 95-81 defeat at 15th ranked Indiana University Southeast on February 6th, he contributed 16 points on 6-11 field goals and 2-3 trifectas. He added 1 rebound, 1 assist, and 2 steals. In the Eagles last-second 101-99 defeat to Brescia University on February 10th, he chipped in 18 points on 7-14 field goals and 2-4 trifectas. Additionally, he added 8 rebounds.
In the two games, he averaged 17 points on 52% shooting from the floor and 57.1% from long distance as well as 4.5 rebounds and 1 steal.
