NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The 2017-18 All-River States Conference Men’s Basketball Teams & Awards have been picked and are released at RiverStatesConference.com. ALC’s Blake Smith and Timmy Dalton were named to the All-RSC Second Team.
The 10 players on the All-RSC Second Team represent seven schools, and IU East, WVU Tech and Alice Lloyd lead that team with two selections each. For the Eagles, sophomore guard Blake Smith was selected. He averaged 17.3 points and 5 rebounds per game. He also finished second on the team in blocks and was in the top ten in the conference in two categories.
Also named was guard Timmy Dalton, who was the only freshman named to either squad. He led the club in scoring at 18.7 points and added 6 rebounds per outing. He also finished third on the team in assists and was in the top ten in the conference in three categories.
Senior guard Austin Crisp was named to the Champions of Character Team.
