Owensboro, KY: The Alice Lloyd College Eagles traveled to Owensboro on Saturday to battle RSC foe Brescia University. The two clubs battled to overtime before the Eagles pulled out an exciting 92-87 victory.

From the tipoff, the two clubs traded hoops as neither could make a big spurt to gain an advantage on the other. The Bearcats would take a slim 41-40 lead at intermission.

In the second half, the contest remained nip and tuck with BU clinging to a slight lead and ALC refusing to go away. Brescia led 80-78 with less than ten ticks remaining when Eagles senior guard Austin Crisp drove to the hoop and connected on a driving layup in traffic. His heroics would send the contest into overtime.

In the extra period, Alice Lloyd would sink enough free-throws to finally gain separation and pull out the important conference win.

For ALC (8-3; 2-1 RSC), four players reached double figures. They were led in scoring by Crisp with a season-high 25 points on 9-14 field goals. He also pulled down 8 rebounds to tie junior forward Simon Christon for team honors.
