Ryne Loggins has been named as the new Men/ Women’s Tennis Coach at Alice Lloyd College. In addition to his coaching duties, Loggins will also be serving as a safety officer for the Pippa Passes Police Department.

Loggins graduated from Alice Lloyd College in 2017 where he served as a 4-year member of the Eagles Baseball Team. A hard-working, All-Region center fielder, he helped lead the Eagles to the NCCAA Mideast Regional Championship and a first-ever berth in the NCCAA World Series in Mason, Ohio, during his final season.

“Ryne is a quality fit in our athletics department,” stated Director of Athletics Gary D. Stepp. “As a graduate of ALC himself, he understands the opportunity our college provides student-athletes and the work ethic it takes for them to succeed. He possesses a burning desire to see our program grow, and is eager to prepare his players to achieve their very best.”

When asked about his new position, Loggins stated, “I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to coach at my alma mater and build a solid program. I expect my players to work hard and give everything they have both on the court and in the classroom.”

Loggins is a native of Bristol, Virginia and a 2012 graduate of Virginia High School.
