Pippa Passes, KY:  The Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball team hosted the NCCAA’s top ranked team, Kentucky Christian University, on Tuesday. The Knights proved they were deserving of their lofty ranking as they won the match in straight sets: 25-14, 25-21, and 25-13.

In the opener, KCU came out quickly to establish themselves as a foe to be reckoned with. The visitors pulled ahead only to watch the hosts battle back to make the score interesting. However, the Knights remained steady all game and pulled away once more for the 25-14 win.

In game two, Kentucky Christian once again sprinted to the early lead only to watch ALC battle back in what would be a competitive and exciting match. With momentum and the crowd on their side, Alice Lloyd would tie things at 20.
