We award the Male Athlete of the Week honor to sophomore cross country runner Ryan Morris.
In the challenging Berea College Cross Country Invitational with 103 total runners, Morris, a native of Dryden (VA), led the Eagles. In the 8K (5 miles) meet, he crossed the line in a season-opening race time of 31:32. His steady performance already qualifies him for the NCCAA Men’s Cross Country National Championship in Jackson, Mississippi on November 11.
