MBB NCCAA Nationals

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The Alice Lloyd Eagles men’s basketball team will compete in the 2016 NCCAA National Basketball Championships next week, held on the campus of Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana  beginning Wednesday, March 16. 

The Eagles (18-13) are the No. 5 seed in the eight-team tournament and will play the Lancers of Grace College (19-13), on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the opening round. The NCCAA Parade of Champions will take place before the ALC/Grace game at 7 p.m. at the Manahan Ortopaedic Capital Center.

The national semifinals will be held on Thursday night with the men’s championship to tip off on Saturday at 5 p.m. The women’s NCCAA tournament will be held simultaneously at Grace, resulting in 24 games during tournament week in Winona Lake.

The complete men’s field is No. 1 Emmanuel (Ga.), No. 2 Southwestern Christian (Okla.), No. 3 Ohio Christian, No. 4 Grace, No. 5 Alice Lloyd (Ky.), No. 6 Trinity International (Ill.), No. 7 Bluefield (Va.) and No. 8 Central Christian (Kan.).

The  complete women’s field is No. 1 Colorado Christian, No. 2 Roberts Wesleyan (N.Y.), No. 3 Emmanuel, No. 4 Oklahoma Baptist, No. 5 Point (Ga.), No. 6 Northwestern (Minn.), No. 7 Bethesda (Calif.) and No. 8 Bluefield.
